Terms of Service

Last updated: November 1, 2026

These Terms govern your use of www.directhaullogix.com and the Direct Haul Logix freight marketplace (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. What We Are

Direct Haul Logix is a peer-to-peer technology platform connecting shippers and haulers. We are not a motor carrier, and all shipping contracts are strictly between the users. Haulers are independent and solely responsible for transporting freight safely and lawfully.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
  • Provide accurate information. First and last names must match your driver's license or CDL exactly.
  • Keep your login secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Contact details must be re-verified every 60 days to keep posting or hauling.

3. Hauler Compliance

Haulers must hold and keep current all licenses, operating authority (USDOT/MC where required), insurance, registrations and inspections for their equipment. Expired or mismatched documents may be rejected and can suspend the ability to accept loads.

4. Shipper Responsibilities

Shippers must accurately describe cargo, weight, dimensions, access and pickup/delivery windows, and must not tender hazardous, illegal or prohibited items.

5. Pricing and Fees

Prices are fixed and itemized before posting; rates are not negotiable. The DirectHaulLogix Managed Brokerage & Platform Fee is 10% of carrier pay plus a $15 flat booking fee, shown line by line. A hauler's net payout is the same regardless of the shipper's payment method.

6. Escrow and Payment

Shippers fund the load when awarding a hauler. Funds are released to the hauler after delivery is confirmed with a signed e-BOL and proof-of-delivery photos. Payments are processed by Stripe and subject to Stripe's terms.

7. e-BOLs, Check-Ins and Ratings

  • Pickup and delivery are recorded through signed e-BOLs; signatures cannot be altered once made.
  • Haulers check in while loads are in transit.
  • Both parties rate each other after every completed haul.

8. Off-Platform Dealing

Users may not use the Platform to find each other and then arrange the same or future loads off-Platform to avoid fees. Violations may lead to suspension.

9. Prohibited Conduct

No fraud, harassment, false documents, unsafe operation, or misuse of other users' information.

10. Disputes Between Users

If a dispute arises, Direct Haul Logix may review e-BOLs, photos, check-ins and messages and decide how escrowed funds are released or split. Our decision on escrowed funds is final as to the Platform.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Direct Haul Logix is not liable for loss of or damage to cargo, delays, or the acts of users, and our total liability is limited to the platform fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Cargo claims are between the shipper and the hauler and the hauler's insurer.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.

14. Changes and Contact

We may update these Terms and will post the new date above. Questions? Use our Contact Support form.
